Aren't they cute! This is at YEC a few years ago. The guy in the middle was the worship leader Jeff Johnson. He is awesome! Sorry girls....had to put it out there!

Day 4 -- Integrity and beyond

Dinner in the chuch wagon...The caf. food isn't too bad but there was one meal we HAD to veto!
Theeeres Justin!

In line for lunch!

Dinner time!

Sorry this post is so late and even after we are home! I didn't feel so good the last few days of camp and voted to nap over posting a blog...sorry! To sum it all up. God worked in the lives of students this last week. He should us all so many things about who we are, who we should be and where we need to be going. In worship one night Ben pointed out that we all need a plan. We need to have a plan of action on how we are going to keep our focus where it needs to be. I feel like that has been set out for each of our students. We know that once they get home it isn't as easy. It isn't for Chad and I as well. But, we have to try to be better every day.

Three of the points I wrote down the last night were.

---Grab a new identification by the word

---Get a new relationship to the word

---Form a new activity with the word.

Find time, a place and get a plan.

Find time you are awake and focused, a place you can go and read and a plan to make it all happen.

I think these are wonderful things for all of us to remember. This week Ben (the camp Pastor) used James 1. I encourage all of you to read it if you have time. If you have iTunes his podcast are free and WONDERFUL. You can find him under Breakaway he is the Texas A&M Bible Study leader.

Day 3 -- Sacrifice

McKenzie, Taylor, and Kelly standing out in the rain waiting for Track Time to Start.
Chad, Landry and Justing...Chad is trying to love on these boys as they are getting ready to go out to their Mission Site. These boys have worked soo hard this week!

Mission Group gearing up to head out to Santa Fe.

The word of the day is...Sacrifice!

Wow! When we come and talk about sacrifices I am sure there are things we can all give up...but how hard it always is. So, anyway it has been fun today and I can't wait to hear what the kids have learned in their bible studies and have to share at their group times. We had a few showers today and the kids got soaked.
The two that were sick are feeling some better but still taking it easy.

I locked my keys in my car and then Thankfully got to use my On Star....who ever came up with that is amazing!!!

Well, all in all we are having a great time. I am so looking forward to worship tonight and I think if you ever have the chance to see Addison Road in Worship...don't pass it up. They are amazing!

Our group has unanimously voted to skip out on the caf. food tonight...spegattiy...YUCK! Anyway, we are all meeting at 5:00 in the Church wagon for supper of yummy healthy burgers, pizza, Frito pies and anything else that is bad for you :)

Thank you so much for allowing you kids to be here with us we love them and are having a great time!
