Sorry this post is so late and even after we are home! I didn't feel so good the last few days of camp and voted to nap over posting a blog...sorry! To sum it all up. God worked in the lives of students this last week. He should us all so many things about who we are, who we should be and where we need to be going. In worship one night Ben pointed out that we all need a plan. We need to have a plan of action on how we are going to keep our focus where it needs to be. I feel like that has been set out for each of our students. We know that once they get home it isn't as easy. It isn't for Chad and I as well. But, we have to try to be better every day.
Three of the points I wrote down the last night were.
---Grab a new identification by the word
---Get a new relationship to the word
---Form a new activity with the word.
Find time, a place and get a plan.
Find time you are awake and focused, a place you can go and read and a plan to make it all happen.
I think these are wonderful things for all of us to remember. This week Ben (the camp Pastor) used James 1. I encourage all of you to read it if you have time. If you have iTunes his podcast are free and WONDERFUL. You can find him under Breakaway he is the Texas A&M Bible Study leader.
